Shade line check for small garden seating

Small garden seating often gets placed where it looks good at midday and then becomes uncomfortable later. A shade-line check avoids that mismatch.

Look at the seat area twice: once in the morning and once late in the afternoon. Mark where the useful shade lands, not just where the tree or fence sits.

Leave enough room to move a chair without dragging it through pots or hoses. A comfortable seat still needs a clear path back to the door.

Keep the setup simple and reversible until the pattern feels right for a few days.
